The Alaska Chess Federation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. As such, donors can deduct their contributions from their taxable income.
We fundraise through the donation platform, Zeffy. Zeffy gives 100% of your donation to the ACF. During checkout, Zeffy requests a tip/donation to keep their platform free for non-profits. The ACF does not receive these additional funds and a tip to the platform is not required to be an ACF donor.
Why Donate to the ACF?
The ACF uses donations to host chess tournaments across the state, support ACF Club Affiliates, community outreach, among other chess-related activities.
Aside from monetary donations, you can contribute to our mission through "in-kind" donations, such as gift certificates or other items for prizes, venue space, concessions for tournaments, chess materials, etc.
