As of November 12, 2024, the Alaska Chess Federation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization! As such, donors can deduct their contributions from their taxable income.

The ACF uses donations to host chess tournaments across the state, support ACF Club Affiliates, community outreach, among other chess-related activities. 

Aside from monetary donations, you can contribute to our mission through "in-kind" donations, such as gift certificates or other items for prizes, venue space, concessions for tournaments, chess materials, etc.
